I am a 38 yo singledad, raising 2 children and starting a new job soon in Atlanta. I am seeking information on safe neighborhoods that are no more than 45 - 60 minutes driving from Atlanta. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations on the new job. There are many different options for living in and around the Atlanta area. Some of the popular suburbs that have great schools are Roswell, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, or the Gwinnett Areas. All these areas are great for Kids and have all different price ranges. Traffic is bad here so travel times can vary. All these places should be at or under an hour from downtown in traffic. Hope this helps a little. Good Luck and Welcome to Hotlanta!
