Tropical Storm Cindy
How long do these storms murk up the water and what is the policy for exchange of your time paid for to another date with better weather? Do you just pay the cancellation fee and get over it? Being mid summer would you stand a chance of rescheduling in the next few weeks? This is the first time we've pre-paid for a week and it figures we have Hurricane Dennis lurking for this weekend landfall. Any suggestions? We are watching and waiting. We live on the coast an hour east of New Orleans so can't leave if it hits here either.

I do not know all the rulesand regs about storm refundsof changes BUT I would check with the companyfirst, watch the weather closely and see what happens. It may not be close to us or it may glance by or it may hit.
The water clarity can depend on how close BUT in my experience it should nottake long to get back to normalonce the storm is past. The REAL caution is rip tides BEFORE, DURING and AFTER.Be especially careful AFTER when the water may look normal BUT is far from it. Heed the flags and the warnings. I know that is not finality for you but keep the week open until the last minute allowed by your rental. KeithGoesCoastal |
