Can anyone give us an update on how everything is on Holiday Isle? I see by aerial photos that some places were hard hit. Is there much beach erosion? What is the water like? We are due to come down August 5th. Please let us know. Thanks.

don't know where you are stying on Holiday Isle, but you should definately check with you rhotel before coming down. Inlet reef is opening the 22nd. Jetty East not until mid september and others are even a bit later.......

No, actually it sits right in between Inlet Reef and the Jetty. i didn't see it on the Destin Chamber of Commerce web site as opening, but then I don't know if it was damaged enough to close. I will keep checking and let you know what I find. Have you tried calling them? Inlet reef was not answering their phone as of Friday I believe because they didn't have phone lines.
