Cool gasoline supplies

Can someone please tell me if the gasoline supplies are back to normal around the destin area. I know they had been low there not too long ago, like a week ago perhaps.

Heard from a friend in Destin that supplies are back to normal but prices are high, compared to St. Louis. I was down there right before Dennis hit and prices jumped from 2.14 to 2.53 a gallon overnight with long lines. I had gased up on Wednesday before the prices jumped.

Price gouching is a fact of life. What you should do is report it to the state of florida.

As of today (30 Jul) NOT ALL STATIONS HAVE GA$. DO not believe the bull crap on the radio about everyone having ga$. I avoid local Destin/Fort Walton Media as much as possible. You should to.

Icon6 High Prices

I was in Destin last week, the gas is about 20 cents a gallon higher than most places, but as far as I could tell all gas stations were open and had gas...We stayed at Sundestin, the beaches were in great shape and the water was very clear toward the end of the week.

The gas supply is fine as far as I can tell. No lines are noticeable anywhere. Gas is 2.32 50 2.39ish for regular. Premium is about $.20 higher.

The traffic has been congested this week due to the rain and the continued Hwy 98 situation between Destin and Ft Walton.

AVOID travel when in town in the normal peak hours and you should do ok.

C,mon down and coast with us.

Cool

Thunder and Lightning as I post.

Elizabeth....better get your shopping shoes on. Relax and go with the flow. There may be one on the roads. Rainwater.

Plenty to do if the weather is rainy. Everyone post their fave rainy day activity when here on the Emerald Coast.

I can show you some good investment properties! ;0)

Wayne Gentry, Staff Meteorologist, TripSmarter.com

After recieving rain every day for the first five days of August it looks as though this stubborn pattern will continue for a few more days.
A Low Pressure system has developed along the Gulf Coast, and is forecast to linger, continuing to generate rainshowers and occassional thunderstorms through Sunday evening.
Temperatures will be around average for this time of year with morning lows in the lower 70's and daytime highs in the upper 80's. Plentiful humidity will drive the heat index up to the mid 90's. There will be some windows of brief sunshine and no rain, but this will be the exception, not the rule.
The winds will remain light southerly with the exception of higher winds associated with thunderstorm activity, so the offshore forecast calls for seas 1 to 2 feet through the weekend.
Gulf temperature has responded to recent rains by dropping from 88 last week to 83 this morning. Local fishermen report that King Mackeral are everywhere and fishing has been better than average for this time of year.

SYNOPSIS: MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH RAIN AND T'STORMS THROUGH SUNDAY.
LOWS: 72 HIGHS: 89
LIGHT SOUTHERLY WINDS
SEAS: 1-2 FT

NEXT WEEK LOOKS MUCH BETTER AS WE SEE THE RETURN OF SUNSHINE AND TEMPERATURES REBOUND INTO THE UPPER 90'S.

The good news is that it's helping to keep temperatures comfortable. And we're catching some sun every now and then.

It's raining again, oh know I'm losing a friend.

Not really, just a great song. Everyone stay dry today and stay safe on the roads.
