We have a Wellcraft Cabin Cruiser that we will be bringing over via the ICW this weekend to enjoy Destin. Originally wanted a transient slip but found out that the Cobia tournament has started and they are scarce.

I have charts of places to drop anchor, but can any locals recommend a good spot?

And .. do any boaters know if gasoline supplies at marinas are ok?

Destin Harbor is a favorite for lots of boaters - both locals and out-of-towners .... with all the nightlife and fabulous food on the harbor, you can anchor and dingy over to your favorite place! As far as gas is concerned, some marinas do have purchase limits but for the most part, gas is available.

Destin pass is the most beautiful place - be sure to cruise out to the Gulf and take a picture looking back.....emerald waters and white sand along the jetties -- and if you do it at sunset -- you will never pull up anchor again!
