Plan if you want to come for 04-July weekend
Just to inform you all if your planning to come here for 04-July weekend you will not be alone. Plan ahead. Especially if your going to view the fireworks in Destin.
What I would suggest is to rent a boat and view from the Destin Harbor. Highway 98 WILL BE JAMMED. So if you all plan ahead, you will have a nice time here. and the radio stations here do simocast audio that syncs with the fireworks. (102.1 or 103.1) Remember, if your on a budget, your best bet is to stay in Oaklossia Island (but stay away from the hotels that looked run down) Look up Beacon Resorts, etc. \Rob

This 04-july weekend will be on tuesday. the weather forecast calls for mainly sunny skies with 20% chance. since i've came here in 2000, i have yet to see a nice clear sunny day on july 4'th weekend. perhaps this year will be different. enjoy.
