Is there any place in the Destin, Fort Walton Beach area that isn't run over with tourists but still offers variety of music and an opportunity to dance. Like the kids, but us older people need some fun too. :)

Look under nightlife from the Destin tab of Tripsmarter - there are some listings there...and check out Club Hour - it streams at 7pm and midnight CST every night. It will show you a variety of choices!

Thank you very much, I will check it out. If you asked my 20 year old daughter the meaning of old, I am sure she would tell you that it was somebody the age of her mother.

I had a great time at The Village Door, which is in The Village of Baytowne Wharf. It is a night club type atmosphere, but they have a live band that plays hits and dance music from the '70's and '80's. I'm in my 30's and the crowd there had a wide age range. My girlfriend and I had an absolute blast there and we definitely plan to go back!



The Village of Baytowne Wharf is in San Destin just east of Silver Sands outlets.
