NightLife for 50+ in Destin ????

Where are the places for 50+ people to go and have drinks, live entertainment and dancing? Also are there any black people in Destin and where do they party?

If you like jazz music, you MUST go to the Red Bar in Grayton Beach - they have a great band and wonderful food there. Also, if you can find out where in Destin sax man Randy Sherwood is playing you won't be sorry - he plays by himself (sax and piano) and he is TERRIFIC! We heard him playing at a beach wedding and he invited us hear him play the next day at Baytowne Wharf. My husband and I agree that not only is Randy one of the finest sax players we've ever heard (we've heard a lot!) but he is also a very nice guy. Enjoy Destin and be sure to checkout live jazz and check out Randy if you can find him there!

It really depends on what type of atmosphere you'd like. Zampeiri's, Baytowne, Royal B, Old Florida Fish House, Seaside (the last two are on 30A, so not technically in Destin). Pretty much any where you go you're going to get a mix of ages. I wouldn't say there to be any place that's been designated a younger crowd. At least this has been my experience.. Aside from Nighttown, of course.

Oh, and while we may not have many black people, I'd say they party at the same place all the rest of the people do..

Wow, after typing that I just realized you dug this up from over a year ago...
