Well, a week's worth of ArtsQuest events gets under way Sunday, May 5th with the 5k road race & 1 mile fun run at Cafe Thirty-A.

There's plenty more going on throughout the week, culminating in the fine arts festival at Eden State Gardens the weekend of the 11th & 12th.

We didn't make the Sunday stuff, but then my old legs probably couldn't have carried me the 1 mile! My wife loves these kind of art shows. She finds all kinds of unusual (to her - sometimes I think they're just weird!) gifts and gets an early start on her Christmas shopping. Me, I just like getting outside and walking around a bit. As long as there's something cold to drink and a cool shady place to stop and rest I don't mind going to these!
