I'm sure there's good deals left in Destin. You'll just want to do your research. On the plus side, Destin's city council voted last year to allow short-term rentals throughout the city. That means there more investment properties (condos especially) and a greater volume of visitors. Good conditions for buying investment property, I would think.

That's good news about the short rentals. I want to get a vacation condo or duplex that I can rent out to tourists most of the year and use myself sometimes.
