Yes, hide your children and eat your wheaties because it is true.. Club Hour has hit Destin, Florida.

The ground may strangely feel colder under your toes, and pigs may start to fly, but these are not bad omens for the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village" because finally after a long wait.. the forces that be have unleased upon its quiet waters, Randy Peterson.

Why, "they" say he's 8 feet tall.. "They" say he's got arms as big as tree trunks, and eyes as black as steel.. "They" say he took on a dozen grizzlies single-handedly, then bought them all drinks to show he's a good sport..

Aye.. Randy Peterson. That's who "they" mean.

His name shall be whispered on the breath of innocent babes.. His visage shall echo of your very souls as you seek high and low for entertainment and fun.

Club Hour is no mere show.. it's an experience, a way of life.. if you will.. Cling to it.. love it.. make it your own and give it a special name.

I caught the new Destin Club Hour later last week. Gotta love cable modem (or DSL depending on where someone lives). I can sit here in Las Vegas, Nevada and catch it as it airs.

Having spend a total of 25 days vacationing in Destin in the past couple of years, I can vouch for the great coverage Randy and the Club Hour team gave. I've hit just about every spot featured a number of times and Club Hour really captured them well.

I love watching Beach TV before I vacation on the Emerald Coast. After seeing all of the clubs, restaurants and activities on TV, it helps me decide where to go. And when I get there, it makes me feel comfortable like I've been there before even if it is a new place to me.

note to staff....did we pay Tedinvegas this month? We could not have asked for a btter endorsement! Thanks Ted, I am glad you are watching, and coming from someone embedded in the party and media scene of Las Vegas, it is one compliment I will proudly pass along to our production staff.

By the way Ted, you never compared the lovely ladies of Panama City beach and Destin to those of the deserts of Nevada, was there even a comparasin?

And Kobayashi....well thanks...i think...it was either very flattering or very satirical....hmmm with Club Hour fans I bet I know which one....

LOL ... you guys have "paid" me by helping me save valuable vacation time with the online research before I visit. Vacations are always too short and it costs money to get and stay somewhere so who wants to spend that time going to crappy stuff? On your site, I can read and view about stuff to check it out ahead of time.

Plus, I don't live near a beach. Love checking out the cams when I need a break. Except the Schooners bar cam. Not a good thing to watch people drinking on the beach when you still have a few hours of work to grind out!

Man ... comparing the women of Las Vegas (where I live) to Northwest Florida is like comparing apples to oranges and I like them both!

Here in Las Vegas you have more of that uptight L.A. (Los Angeles, not lower Alabama) thing going on because we are only a five hour drive from Southern California where I live, and so many Southern Californians have moved over here.

Northwest Florida women are just as hot, but easier to approach and say hello to. Less of the big city, nobody talks to anybody, beware of everybody thing. More laid back, better attitude.

I gotta get back to work, or I'll spend the next two hours working on my next Emerald Coast vacation itinerary!
