Destin voted #1 Beach Resort and #3 Family Vacation Spot
Living down South comes with lots of privileges, not the least of which is to voice your opinion – loudly and often. Recently, Southern Living Magazine asked its readers to vote for their favorites
Destin came in #1 Beach Town/Resort and Myrtle Beach, SC, was a close 2nd. In the category of Family Vacation destinations, 2nd only to Disney World, came Myrtle Beach…and right on its heels, Destin. Interesting!!! Congrats!

We were just in Destin yesterday and discussed how much and how fast that tiny little town grew up. It truly is the jewel of the Emerald Coast. Destin stays packed now.. almost year 'round. Same thing is happening to 30-A...

A lot of ppl gripe about the traffic- heck even I do from time to time- but I wouldn't live anywhere else!
