New Red Bar
Anyone familiar with the 30-A region between Panama City and Destin certainly knows about the Red Bar, a landmark in Grayton Beach. Well, after all these years, a 2nd Red Bar is opening this Friday. The new Red Bar is at the 331 bridge, only a mile or two from Highway 98. The food promises to be just as good as the original, and the views from the place should be phenomenol, especially at sunset. Word has it that a special musician will be performing at the opening on Friday, so come check it out.

That's great news! I think if there were 20 Red Bars in our area, they would all be full every night! Not only do they have great food, but they are well known as a hotspot for nightlife. Can't wait to check out the new Red Bar!
Here's some info on the Red Bar in Grayton Beach: Destin Bars and Clubs BTW - Who's the special musician??? Anyone famous? Last edited by swn5363; May-22nd,2003 at 10:49 PM. |

I ate at "the 331" Friday before Memorial Day and loved it. The place was huge. The parking is much much better, and the view definately is awesome. They have a large outdoor section and the band area is bigger.
If you're heading down 331 to Grayton Beach, it's a good place to stop and eat.. OR a good place stop before heading on up to Ebro for a night of Greyhound racing. ________ Live Sex Webshows |

I drove by "the 331" twice this weekend and both times it was packed out. Everyone I know who went said it was great! Their menu is tried and true, and they know how to set a great atmosphere. Who knows, maybe they'll start opening more Red Bars all over the Emerald Coast soon, since the place does so well.
