New restaurants???

Any new restaurants in Destin that I should try when I'm in town in a few weeks. I prefer something that isn't a chain although these are getting harder and harder to find. Anyone remember the Blue Room from the 70's and 80's??? What ever happened to that place?

Great Restaurant & Bartender in Destin

Hi! I have a great recommendation for a restaurant in the Destin area when you visit. I just recently moved here from California and we have been checking out the restaurants in the area. While I have seen a lot of good ones I was surprised and amazed by the artistic flair of Bianco restaurant and the Cava Blue Bar. The service is fantastic and the food is one of a kind. Yummy! The Cava Blue Bar is a great place to hang. They just recently received a new bartender there (Tyler). He knows every exotic drink! Navy Grog, Mojito, Tiffany Martini (my personal favorite) and any flavor martini you could possibly think up. He is the Baskin Robbins of alcoholic beverages.... any flavor you want. You should check it out. They even have a bakery there and make their own bread. Fantastic.

Cool Camilles and Bogwalk for more upscale....

Camilles is on old 98 in Crystal Beach. Sushi and a cozy place to eat.

Bogwalk in Destin Commons is a good place to eat at a shopping venue. Some different stuff on menu there.

We were disappointed in Bianco BUT will give them another try.

Still love these three although not necessarily new: Beach Walk Cafe, Ocean Club asnd Louisiana Lagniappe.

Osaka is good for Japanese and the new Thai Elephant was also good.

Bonefish is for apps and drinks ONLY in my opinion.
