Just had some yummy apps at the bar last night at Cuvee Beach. ALL 1/2 price on Tuesday nights which was a SURPRISE for the Mrs.and I.

Johnny Chicago serving up the grub and grog. Actually a bit more upscale than that.

Had the tuna tower which the wife did not share much of, a wedge salad with great blue cheese dressing, calamari and tried to finish off a small app pizza with crabmeat and shrimp. All great eats.

Johnny let me try some sparkling Rose, A Newton unfiltered Chard and I had a great Newcastle on draft. Wifey had a glass of 1993 Conundrum.

Had not been here in awhile and was nice to get back. Thumbs upfor this trip out!

how bad was the damage in denstin FL,?

Not nearly as bad as Ivan. Mostly beach erosion.Went over today to eat at Bonefish and things almost normal. Some still without power.

Stopped by last week and Johnny made me a Rubitini and I had the Ahi Tuna App, which was a REALLY good salad topped with rare tuna, sashimi grade. 10 of 10.

Just to let you know...Happy Hour is Monday-Thursday I believe with drinks 1/2 off in the late afternoon until early evening. The hours escape me.

Short visit this time in BUT well worth it.

I'm looking forward to next reviews Kieth...I'm not familiar with either of the restaurants you mentioned, but I love Thai and would be so happy to hear of a place with great Spicey Mango Chicken or even some good Pad Thai (I try to stay away from the noodles - but yum).

I'm in Panama City and I always enjoy your reviews...I don't make it out to Destin often enough for dinner. We made it as far as Three Thirty One last weekend, but unfortunately we got there too late and the kitchen was closed. Great live music though, but I really wanted to try their Sushi. Have you had it there yet?

Had a luncheon meeting there but have not tried for dinner or sushi. I love the atmosphere there though. Will be looking to get back out there soon.
