Stopped by yesterday to visit Andy and Ken at Suhsi Rocks in Baytowne Village!
Andy slid me a sample of the monkfish pate' and I had my first Uni Shooter. They were both srumpdillyicious. The pate' was rich and was swimming in a nice "soup" w/ some soy and it melded nicely with the fish and other things going on in the dish. Very rich and would be a very romantic thing for you to order for your date when you visit for Valentines Day. The Uni Shooter is Sea Urchin in a hollow lemon half with lemon juice, flying fish eggs and a raw quail egg broken on top. You pick up the lemon, squeeze it into your mouth and all the flavors blend in a refreshing and healthy shot. Impress your date with this one. Sushi Rocks in the Village is a great place for an intimate dinner in a nice waterfront setting on the lagoon and right around the corner from dancing and music in the village. Even a Destin Jeweler's there for you to stop by and give your girl that special piece of jewelry. So for a one stop Valentines Day and Night spot come see Andy at Sushi Rocks and set the stage for romance the whole night long! Tell 'em KeithGoesCoastal sent you! www.KeithGoesCoastal.com |
