FINALLY made it out to try these guys and it was worth the wait and the few extra miles to get there.
I'll be honest, I was a bit "disappointed" at first since the menu is similar to Red Bar and written on the blackbaord, meaning it is not lengthy with choices. We went the night AFTER Valentines and there was a nice crowd. We liked the atmosphere and also the fact that they served some good fresh sushi as well. The service was great. I like a confident and playful server and we got just that. Laughing and having some fun while providing good food and drink. My fears of the limited menu were put to rest as the dishes we ordered were delish. We started with a roll and my wife got the Mahi while I ordered the crabcakes. Also, we got a salad with the cakes and a nice basket of yummy bread, my downfall. ALL of it was memorable and we WILL be back soon. The hallmark of a great place is you leave knowing you will back soon. Atmosphere, service, food and overall experience all were outstanding. They are off 98 just before the 331 Bridge and wortht the trip. I am going with a rating of 9.0 out of 10. Why not 10? I tripped in the parking lot. LOL. Give them a try on your culinary cruising and tell them KeithGoesCoastal sent you. Last edited by swn5363; May-18th,2008 at 01:42 AM. |
