What to see a great restaurant captured in an amazing TV spot? Then feast your eyes on Beach Walk Cafe's newest Beach TV spot! One of the coolest restaurant's on the Emerald Coast presented just as they present their food - deliciously.

I had the pleasure of dining at Beach Walk Cafe last November. I've done my fare share of fine dining, so I'm pretty objective. Plus, the prices are very upscale for dinner so I figured they better deliver the goods.

Deliver they did. The dining area is beautiful, relaxing, and airy. Unfortunately, the sun had set by the time I arrived so I had to do without a view of The Gulf, but did have a post dinner cocktail as I strolled on the back patio area relaxing.

The food surpassed expectation. Tons of restaurants have a great dining room and attentive staff, but the preparation and presentation of all courses was exceptional. Dishes are prepared with varying and unique style and flavors. Nothing crazy, harsh, or too spicy just to do something different. Just great taste where every bite is a treat.

No ... the chef isn't my cousin or something. He did come to greet diners but that is the only time I have ever met him. I paid full fare, which put a pretty decent dent in the Platinum card, but with no regrets and will dine there again on a future visit.

Thumbs up New Beach Walk Cafe Video

WOW! You guys did a great job with the new video. It captures the fact that the Beachwalk is a different kind of place. Yes, it is fine dining. But it is comfortable fine dining. The staff will make you feel truly at home. The only thing better than the service is the food! The experience is definately worth the price.

A few months ago my wife and I ate at a restaurant in Orlando operated by a famous TV chef who shall remain nameless. We were so disappointed. All we could think of was the Beach Walk and how much better the food, service, and scenery is in Destin. There was no "BAM" at that restaurant (hint hint). There is plenty to get excited about at the BeachWalk.

I am a fan of good food. Destin has many great places. The BeachWalk is the best on the Emerald Coast and may be the best period.

Thumbs up Destin Eats

You all are correct when you said that the Beachwalk is one of our finest resturants. The Chef Tim Creehan is recognized as one of the top 5 in the entire state. Oh and to AWINDSOR and his wife who had the chance to get the BAM treatment in Orlando. You will not be suprised to learn that Emeril dines in Destin frequently. And at his signature resturants other chefs do the cooking under his name only. Next time you visit us, after enjoying the Beachwalk try out the Marina Cafe, Flamingos, Destin Chops, Criolas and Rutherfords 465 where the BAM chef himself likes to dine and many others. For such a small town we have some very good places to eat. :)

As a regular Destin visitor, I will vouch for Marina Cafe, Flamingo Cafe, and Destin Chops (as well as Louisiana Lagniappe and others) . Criolas and Rutherfords 465 I have yet to enjoy, but always hear good things.

In fact, my vacations are planned around stunning scenery (the beach in the case of Destin) and great dining.

If I may veer a little off topic, Emeril's Delmonico here in Las Vegas is an amazing restaurant. One of the top 3-4 steak houses in a city that now continues to be noted as the top US dining destination because of the restaurants and chefs which have entered the market, as well as top restaurant rankings by national travel publications.

Although rare, when I have received sub-par food or service at a high-end establishment I have dropped the Executive Chef a line (if a food issue ... just address it to Executive Chef c/o the restaurant) or the Manager if a service issue.

Keep it under a half page if possible (just the facts -- they can sniff out the kind of people who complain to every company on earth about everything hoping to get something), and they will not only appreciate your input but often offer you a comped (free) meel to return and try them again.

I know and deal with chefs through a food and cooking related company I sit on the board of, and they want and demand input to correct problems.

Myron is on a distinguished road
tedinvegas could not have said it any better if he had been paid by Chef Crehan. I too have eaten at BeachWalk as well as many other fine dining and cool local restaurants in Destin and along the Gulf Coast. I live here, so it's easy for me to get to know all of these great places.

I couldn't have said it better myself.
