Seaside, Florida, USA - (June 8th, 2007) - A newly restored inn designed exclusively by the internationally known handbag, travel bag, and accessories manufacturer, Vera Bradley, opened today in Seaside, Florida. Dubbed the Inn by the Sea, the nine room property is reflective of the Vera Bradley lifestyle. Each of the nine guest rooms and common areas feature the trademark style and colorful flair synonymous with the Fort Wayne, Indiana based company. The full service inn is located in the idyllic community of Seaside, Florida.
Many former patrons and visitors to Seaside know the location of the Inn, since for years it was operated as “Josephine’s”. The bed and breakfast was a popular landmark in iconic Seaside. The transformation over the last 6 months was obvious to the passer-bys but the involvement of Vera Bradley has not been announced until now. This special place becomes the first and only Vera Bradley styled accommodation.
Inn by the Sea has a common parlor downstairs featuring rich colors and refined pieces. Across the hall, the Inn’s dinning room offers breakfast and will soon host lunch and afternoon tea. Breakfast is included with all stays. Every guest has full privileges at the private swim, tennis and fitness club in Seaside. Welcome gifts, DVD rentals, daily maid service and all the beauty of this coastal haven are included with each stay.
Two of the 9 rooms are located in the carriage house and are an upgrade from queen beds to king. These rooms also have a private sitting room and kitchenette.
