Emerald Coast Marlin Classic
Have you ever dreamed of hooking in to a 900 lb. fish... fighting with it for hours and hours... then claiming your prize money of hundreds of thousands of dollars? If so, you may be interested in a new tournament taking place in Destin, Florida:
This month, (June 18-22) Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is hosting the FIRST-EVER Emerald Coast Marlin Classic which is sure to be a huge event. Just glancing at the schedule of events, it looks like this will be Destin's version of the well-known Bay Point Billfish Invitational in Panama City Beach, which draws in hundreds of thousands of people over the 4 days. I'm betting that the Emerald Coast Marlin Classic will become one of the most anticipated events of summertime in Destin. Anybody want to invite the TripSmarter.Com team out to catch a Blue? I could think of some fun ways to spend the prize money! :D
