We‘re hanging with the big dogs next week at the 2009 Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic.
This annual event, which is in its 7th year, offers something for everyone. Most importantly, for the angling teams, deep blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, red-hot billfish action, and cool green cash.
The ECBC started in 2003 and is the fastest growing billfish tournament on the Gulf Coast. The tournament takes place every June at Baytowne Marina in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. It holds the Gulf Coast record for highest cash payout $1,536,850.00 in 2008 and, on average, present awards to over 22 teams every year
Come see me - I will be hanging out at the Signature Shares tent with Captain Matt and the guys.We'll have the 26' Regulator on display in Baytown Wharf by the restaurants and we'll have a 32' Regulator in the water and available for demonstrations. This is the same boat that caught the pending world record line class Red Snapper (8lb fly line ladies 2lb9oz).
