According to a press release, Best Chefs America, which was designed as a guide for chefs, conducted more than 5,000 confidential interviews with nominated chefs around the country to produce a coffee table book. Less than one percent of professional cooks in America are honored with this award. Two other local chefs were also honored with this prestigious award: Andrew Gardo of Sea Captain's House and Curry Martin of Aspen Grille.
Originally from Orlando, Fl, Bradley’s passion for cooking was sparked by the memories of watching his Grandmothers cook. Graduating from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee in 1997 with a Leisure Services degree, he then attended Le Cordon Bleu in Orlando. While attending school he worked for celebrity chef Todd English at his eclectic seafood restaurant Bluezoo. He left Bluezoo to expand his culinary knowledge at the exquisite Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee. At the Relais and Chatuex property, he was introduced to “Foothills Cuisine” and the concept of drawing from indigenous ingredients and cuisines. As Executive Chef at Croissants Bistro & Bakery, Chef Daniels continues that concept of using local and fresh ingredients, drawing from the many farms and fisherman that South Carolina has to offer.

Just ran across this photo of Key West. It's old (from 2002) but I thought it was beautiful. Taken by an astronaut aboard the International Space Station.

Caption: Turquoise blue waters, coral reefs and sandy beaches were apparently on the minds of International Space Station astronauts last week. As they passed over the Florida Keys, they acquired a sequence of images from Key West eastward along the outer keys. The detail of the images showcases the clarity of the Caribbean waters, and allows for mapping of both land use and shallow marine features. This image of Key West shows the intensive built-up area of the town, the offshore sand flats and grassbeds surrounding Key West, the patterns of natural tidal channels and artificially dredged channels that allow boat access to the local marinas.
My favorites:
- Appetizer sampler (whoa!)
- Philly steak sandwich
- Any of their awesome burgers
- Steak (delish!)
- Corn beef and cabbage (comes with half a head of cabbage covered in corn beef slices!)
- Brownie a la mode (save room for this - trust me!)
- All of their home brews

Go early, though... cos the wait can be long!

Both will be located at VERY popular attractions in the area and will more than likely become THE most popular Destin cams. I don't want to give out the locations just yet, since things aren't finalized, but all you Destin cam fans should be VERY happy! More info soon!

We're going to a game in late July. This will be my first time at Turner Field. The last Braves game I attended was as a kid at the old Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. Dale Murphy, Bruce Benedict, Glenn Hubbard, McGriff, Perez, Ramirez, Horner, Niekro, Washington... anyone who knows the Braves will know how long ago that was!

Any tips for how to make the most out of a trip to the current stadium? How's parking? Can we get good seats the day of the game or should we buy in advance? I know the new stadium has lots of interactive exhibits --- any we shouldn't miss?

We're going to the Mayhem Festival in July and looking for some other cool stuff to do. Any suggestions? We'll definitley see a Braves game while we're there since they're playing at home.

What are some good nightlife options? Lunch? Dinner?

I've never visited the Lowcountry...but, the wife and I are always looking for romantic getaway locations and Pawleys Island & the Lowcountry has popped up on our radar. We've heard great things about Litchfield Inn in Pawleys Island but we'd love to hear about some bed & breakfasts in Murrels Inlet, Edisto Island, or Hilton Head Island.

Has anyone stayed in Pawleys Island or one of these Lowcountry communities? Can you tell me about your experience?
