New Dates for Fantasy Fest

Due to Hurricane Wilma, The new dates for Fantasy Fest are December 7 - 10, 2005...The party will go on!!!

Now its official. The City Commission voted last night on the new dates for F.F. and it passed 6 to 1. The new dates are Dec 7th - 10th. There is still a lot of people who disagree with the vote. A lot of the town is still having problems.

My niece and I had a trip booked to Key West before Fantasy Fest was rescheduled. We've both been to Mardi Gras...how much wilder is Fantasy Fest? We're driving down from Miami late Friday afternoon. How bad will the traffic be? Are they expecting the usual crowd of 70,000 people?

MsAssrtiv, you're a lucky woman! Headed to Key West for Fantasy Fest! I don't imagine they will have the customary crowds, since it's so late this year, but it will STILL be fun!

Traveling US1 shouldn't be any more crowded than usual... it's a two lane road in many places, so it's always slow. Just breathe deeply and enjoy a leisurely drive through the Keys!

I'm jealous.
