ok i have a quick question. i've been to key west before, a few years back and i know that things have changed and new bars have come about. me and 4 of my best friends from college are flying down there the end of february for a reunion weekend. i'd love some opinions on some of the best bars, restaurants, etc. toni - i know that you've got to have your favorite key west bar. which one serves the best margaritas?

Well Big City Girl, all the bars there serve the best margaritas! Of course I'm a little older then y'all but when it comes to margaritas, I want the best. I have Jose Cuervo Tequila with Grand Marnier liqueur, fresh squeezed lime's & on the rocks with no salt, just my way of having an afternoon sprit. None of the bars uses this mix except Pier House. I think Mangoes has the best margaritas but if you still think Margaritaville is the best then stop in the tourist trap & have one. I think you will have plenty of time during the weekend to do the Duval crawl & find your place for that special margarita.
