Just thought I'd clear up what the Op did. The hotel repo'd and held his boat as collateral when he went several months in arrears for rent. He filed a Theft report with the local authorities, but was extremely rude with them. The hotel claimed to have legally repo'd it. Before the police could verify that information, they dropped the case due to the Op's combative and uncooperative attitude. They told him to go civil with the case and they would no longer help him.

Since then, he has been posting this garbage all over the internet in different forums trying to trash my hometown. Now, he's claiming the hotel dismantled his boat. But, several witnesses from the coastline where the boat was anchored proved him to be a liar.

Aquahound, thanks for posting that. This guy went off yesterday on the Hogsbreath forum. A few of us there posted that his story didn't jive and he basically attacked us. Hopefully the admins there will ban him from that board. This guy really showed his true colors and i can see why the police would or could not work with him.

Thanks Flattop. I regulary read different message boards and he has shown up in almost every single Key West forum on the internet. In fact, Cruisecritic and Tripadvisor have already deleted him and locals at bigpinekey are tearing him apart.

He's being bashed on Topix also. If, in fact, he really does have a lawsuit, his lawyer must suck. You would think all this internet posting would discredit him. I hope Ocean Key House is seeing this.

Some of the names he is using are: takenadvantageof, Robert, floridaguyfromohio, repo-yeahok, and some other aliases. He always starts as though he is sympathetic to the owners. But, it doesn't take long for people to figure out he is the retarded boat owner.
