Drunken Parrot
I saw a post somewhere about a relatively new bar near Sloppy Joes called the Drunken Parrot.
Anyone know about this place? Where exactly is it and what did it used to be? Is it any good?

Green St.
It is on Green St next to Capt Tony's. The bar is decorated with fake palm trees and bamboo furniture. It is a great daytime hangout.
You know, I am on that street almost daily. And for the life of me I can't remember what it used to be. Maybe a t-shirt shop?

Okay....I found it but see you did too. I was off on the price though. $1,150,000....I guess all in all not a bad price.

Drunkin Parrot
Hi!
The bar is located at 430 Greene Street. Off Duval, next to Capt. Tony's.
My friends and I went in there a couple of weeks ago.
It's a cool place. Great drinks...the frozen cocktails are killer and the Mojitos are very, very good...drinks are not expensive!
It's neat because the crowds are different from day to night.
During the day...good tropical music and the evening has fun Top 40's. OH....every 30 minutes they spin the Tiki Wheel for drink specials.
The Parrot, Zoe, is pretty cool! She says all sorts of funny stuff.
We had a good time and they are good to the locals, too!
Have fun there...we sure did!

We were at this bar last January. Cool place with great people working there. But it had the feel of a place that might not make it, unfortunately.

Not really an answer to this question but...........we just lost one of my favorites. The Geiger Key Smokehouse just burned down. It was a true uncrowded paradise sitting on their patio right on the water.
