My wife and I will be comming down at the end of this month. We're staying at the Westin on Front street (formerly the Hilton). We've been to Key West alot over the past 10 years and have seen many pets in bars and restaurants. Which one's are dog friendly. We don't need a complete list just a short one so when we do take Sabre out we'll have some places to go (its his 1st birthday on May 31). He's not that big, just 35 lbs. Thanks for everyone's help..

No worry bout your pooch visitin the bars with you & the wife ~~ Most of the owners with a dog walk around loose but for some reason the pets never leave their owner ~~ Some have a leash on their pet just to make sure they don't get-up & run or what ever ~~ Most bars allow your pooch in their establishment especially if its an outside bar or restaurant ~~ You can always ask ~~

Seen many, many pets in the bars but don't know for sure if its against the law in Key West ~~ Its like havin a drink while your walkin from bar to bar ~~ Its against the law to do that but ifin your not causin any problems or causin them ~~ they won't bother ya ~~

There is Dog Beach which is located right beside Louie's Backyard so your dog can kool-off a little & take a swim ~~ The Afterdeck at Louie's is dog friendly up until 5 pm before dinner is served ~~ There is a Dog Park at Higgs Beach to take your pooch for a walk as well ~~

Turtle Kraals is pet friendly as well ~~ Schooner Wharf Bar is another ~~ Geiger Key Pub & Grill ~~ Hogs Breath & more ~~ Have fun ~~

I think Flattop had posted agreeing with Stormi that many places had outdoor patios/areas and pets were fine at pretty much all of them.

"Stormi hit the nail on the head. Most everyplace that has an outside type bar will let your pup in. I've seen them in all the places Stormi mentioned plus Duval Beach Club, The Lazy Gecko, The Flying Monkey, Ricks Tree Bar and so on and so on.
