We have just booked to stay at Traquility Resort at Marathon in Septemeber. We would like to have a day in Key West, but not to have to drive there so that we can have a drink. Is there a shuttle bus from the Marathon area, how often does it run what what is the cost roughly.

This very question was asked on another KW forum. A few of the locals posted that there is not a bus service and the best bet would be to rent a car. Granted you would then need a DD.

Try Keys Shuttle, they travel from the Miami Airport several times a day and pass right by. They may may be able to help. 305-289-9997.



The County also operates a public bus service between Marathon and Key West but does not go late into the night. The website does not work, perhaps the front desk could help you with it.
