Cabs during Fantasy Fest? Good luck. Calling in any case is pointless.
As for late nights, Jack Flats on Duval serves actual food until 2 AM. Mr Z's is also popular for sustenance, although I categorize it strictly as "drunk food." What I would suggest is some of the more popular, worthwhile, interesting and unusual attractions. Ripley's Believe It or Not? No. Mel Fisher's Maritime Treasure Museum? Yes. Hard Rock Cafe? No. Schooner's Wharf? Yes. Fat Tuesdays? No. Flying Monkey or Lazy Gecko? Yes. Denny's? No. Blue Heaven Restaurant? YES! What I am suggesting is putting all the most genuine experiences available rather than the typical (also available). People are going to have fun one way or the other. Tripsmarter frequenters just seem to have a deeper investment in quality of experience. That's my take. |

Mike I understand what you are saying but that really on applys to Fri eve and Sat after the parade. The rest of the week they are very easy to get and its nice to keep those numbers posted as much as possible to keep people from drinking and driving.

Post them out of convenience, but, grglnswsh, the DnD thing is relatively rare here — particularly during that time — as the entire island is only 2 miles by 4 miles, and most accommodations are with a 5-to-15 minute walk from anywhere.
The vast majority of people stumble to their hotel, use bikes, and don't use a car. The only DnD thing to be of concern is scooters. People think of them as NOT cars and LIKE bikes. (Now that's a problem.) But in any case posting taxi numbers is a good idea. |

Mike I bartended in KW for years. Its not a rare thing at all. Look at the arrest pages and you will see just how prevalent it is. Its just a good way to continue to remind people not to drink and drive.
Another idea is to show the parade route. Maybe also have some retailers noted who sell costumes ( Fast Bucks and Fairavilla). |

Maybe also outline where Bahama Village is and where Old Town and New Town are. So often locals refer to those areas and it would be nice to have a map that the tourist can look at and understand the areas we are talking about.
