Anyone looking to party in KW in 07'? I am headed down for the week of the 18th through the 25th. I wanted to see if the Holiday Inn pool was still the place to be during the day. I went down last year and stayed there and it was absolutely insane. Please let me know if you have any insight...

It is a group of about 15 of us...

We are coming to Key West on the 19th of March 07 all the way from the mighty England. Its our first time so can anyone recommend some cool straight bars with plenty of single women? Rock on!!!

All those bars rock. Especially Rick's. Anyone been down there and hit the bars during the day? Any SB parties or places besides the beach and the Holiday Inn pool that rock during the daytime?

Which Holiday Inn are you referring to? The Holiday Inn Beachside has been torn down and condos are being built in its place and the Holiday Inn La Concha has a small pool but not really a place I would consider a great place to hangout over SB. Plus I think they might be strict with only guests staying there can use it. I believe the old Days Inn (at the start of the island) is now a Hoilday Inn but the reviews on it are not the best.

I forgot a couple of places -
The Lazy Gecko, small but can get crazy at night.
The Conch Republic, on the water, good drink specials, busy bar, avoid the food.

This is the addess of the Holiday Inn we are staying at. It IS at the entrance to the island and across from a Chile's if I remember right... I am not sure if it used to be a Days Inn or not. I read the reviews back in 04' and did not stay there (regrettfully). There were a ton of people I knew staying there and they loved it. We ended up going to that pool everyday. They have a really nice pool and poolside bar. Lots of kids from Georgia Southern were there. It was a really good time last year as we stayed there for SB 06'. If you are looking for perfect rooms and great staff service, it is not the best place. But for "funinthesun" and a good party, it is the best place to be.

Do you know of any other pools that are good to party at?

You are talking about 2 different places. The place that you read about is or should I say was the Holiday Inn Beachside. It is no longer there. The addy you gave is the new Holiday Inn at the old Quality Inn. Chile's is also no longer there.

You might want to check out some of these reviews. It might be too late to change hotels but at least it gives you a heads up.

Make sure you check out Sloppy Joe's on Duval St. It is the best bar on the Island!!!!!!!!

Spring Break 2009 PCB March 19-24th

Sloppys is fun but its not on the beach. Check out Pete and Wayne if they are playing.

About 400 of us coming TDY down there from March 22-April 20th.

Anyone got any pictures from Spring Break in Key West. How was Spring Break this year? I love Key West and might hit up a Sping Break there on year!!!
