In most of my recent stays to Key West, I have stayed at the Hyatt Windward Pointe on South Roosevelt Blvd. by the airport. Although it may cost a little more than some hotels, you definitely get what you pay for and at the Hyatt Windward Pointe, you're basically getting a 2BR/2BA condo. The master suite has a king size bed and it's own private bath with walk in shower, separate toilet area and a HUGE whirlpool tub. The vanity also has 2 sinks and lots of space. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and it's own bathroom as well. There is a complete kitchen with stove, microwave, full size fridge, dishwasher and all of your dishes and cookware you will need. The dining room has a nice table to hold 6 people. The living room has a sleeper sofa and 2 chairs. There are 3 televisions (living room and both bedrooms) as well as a stereo. The large balconies offer views of the Atlantic Ocean and have a nice whicker/glass table with 4 chairs and 2 rockers on it. There is also an outdoor ceiling fan and a telescope for viewing the moon and stars at night. The units also all come with a washer/dryer stackable unit. You can't go wrong with this resort and you are given a passport to use the facilities at the Hyatt Key West by Mallory Square at no additional charge. I give the Hyatt Windward Pointe 5 of 5 stars. It's luxury accommodations at a more affordable price. You can't go wrong here!!
