We've added a "similar threads" option that displays similar threads at the bottom of a forum page if any search terms match up when the thread is started.

Users with over 50 posts can now customize their user title (in your CP, click Edit Profile and you should see the custom title option)

And soon we'll be adding a user photo gallery, video uploads and lots more cool stuff!

I notice all the geek stuff (like the little spinning icon now that appears when you save...)

I love it!! Except the first thing my eye caught just now was the red/yellow icon on the posts, and when I put my cursor over it, it said "Add infraction for Beachnut".

OUCH, that's kinda harsh.

Maybe this was always there and I didn't notice because I didn't click there, but if you are displaying /travelcommunity/showgroups.php the list of banned users is displayed. But what's puzzling is that there is an option to PM them. HMMMM.... How does that work??

Yeah, we saw some things on the sowal board that we liked, but most of it we'd seen before and discussed implementing a while back. There are thousands of websites with photo galleries in the forums, similar threads, lounges, etc... so sowal wasn't the OG by any means.

And we are using the same forum software, so some features will naturally be the same.

That being said, sowal should be flattered if they think we are imitating them. They do have a great online community over there.

Did you guys roll back some messages or something, I swear I saw some out there yesterday that are now gone... Like the post about Tivo from Steve and a few others... am I losing my mind?

Add infraction for what??? Trishben, that very icon is on your post and Stormi's. Not mine! Noticed that is on Bubba Bob's and pc is better than sowal's also! Hmm!

LOL, well of course you can't add an infraction for yourself, which is why it wouldn't show on yours. ;)

Well, I know that. But I would think it would show up on mine for my viewing also. Have to have a good reason to give an infraction to someone. As far as I can tell, I haven't read anything in anyone's posts that would warrant an infraction as to comments in the posts! Not on mine for sure.

That's the point I was trying to make, it seems like a mean little icon....
