I was asked in another thread "why do you support 3 kid killers? i saw that special on hbo and it looked pretty cut and dry to me." and have chosen to answer it here.

Usually I don't make a habit of entertaining posts that I feel are in some way trolling, but since tone shouldn't be inferred from a post, and in fairness to one of the few causes I support and am vocal about, here is my response.

Both of the HBO specials, Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills, and Paradise Lost 2: Revelations shine a spotlight on a system gone horribly wrong... The fact that anyone can watch either of these movies and say anything is "cut and dry" alarms me to my core.

As for getting all of your information from a movie, don't. Go research it. Learn about the witchhunt and the ignorance... Damien's lie that damned him on the stand...Google WM3... West Memphis child murders... Damien Echols...Jessie Misskelley...Jason Baldwin. While you are at it, shine a huge spotlight on John Mark Byers, stepfather of one of the three murdered children, dig into his history of child abuse, review his criminal past, and his wife's subsequent death. I can say from personal knowledge, this man is an unprecidented sleazebag. Go to wm3.org. Read the transcripts, do your homework, pack a friggin' lunch, but don't think for a second about coming into a discussion with me on something of this magnitude uninformed with intentionally imflammatory statements.

If you do your research and believe them guilty, this is your opinion... but making an uninformed decision is dangerous, reckless and immature, and is exactly why those boys are sitting in prison and on death row.

'Cause as we all know now, juries in early '90s "satanic child abuse" cases were _never_ misled or mistaken.

When I saw your first post, I gave you the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was a legitimate question, despite the phrasing... to toss out a one-line trolling lure about a deathrow murder case where lives have been lost and others are at stake seemed simply too crass to imagine. And since the world doesn't revolve around me, I had to dismiss the possibility of a direct attack for some perceived slight.
