Because tolerance can lead to potential acceptance. I am not asking for a person to agree with me but it would be nice for a person to see that people can have different points of view because everyone has the right to their own opinion. And on this board since I'm really in the minority, I feel I have to fight a little more for mine.

It's hard having my mind set and living in this town, especially for the amount of time that I have. "Why are you so openminded?" blah blah blah...

Listen I’ve sat on the sideline for a while and you are contradicting your self hive. You talk about tolerance leads to acceptance and all that other malarkey. Well acceptance is what has kept this country together. If not for acceptance this country would be in civil war or for god sakes back under British control. Acceptance is what separates the good people from the bad people. You talk about having to fight that much harder because of the town you’re from because your beliefs differ so much. Well girl star was right you are just as closed minded as the people you criticize. This started as a simple voicing of opinions but you turned it into a bashing of anybody who opposes you. And NASCAR was right about your spelling. For someone who is so anal-retentive I would have thought a few seconds to run spell check would have given your whole statement more validity. And if you knew the people who have been having this heated discussion they did concede to points of acceptance.

But the great thing about America is that everyone has the right to voice their option and not live in fear or believe what ever it is that they want. But they do not have the right to force their beliefs on you. So why don’t you go stand on the street corner and get on you soap box and force your beliefs down somebody else’s throat.

Well it’s kind of like our business. If your going to try and seem like you know what your talking about you should at least take the extra few seconds to spell check. I personally don't care if he can spell or not the point is he is doing the same thing to people that he criticized others for.
