My fave Google "trick" is to type in:
french military victories
and use the Feel Lucky button.
Having said that, Google's biggest fault is putting far too much emphasis on blog results. I don't mean from generating link popularity, but just the simple fact that too many search results are littered with blog posts. If I want so specifically search blog posts, I'll check Technorati. When I do a search, I'm looking for solid info, not someone's late night drunken rantings that may have little fact behind them.
On another note, have you ever noticed that some of the most prolific posters to blogs and message boards are left-wingers? Don't get me wrong, I like reading and posting to boards as much as anyone.
But here's a concept for you left wing posters who spend hours and hours a week posting and reading political stuff:
How about you take those (let's say) 15 hours a week and actually get a job? Or get a second job? Or take some training to further your profession? Perhaps a little night school toward a degree to advance your career?
If anything, the term "miserable failure" seems to describe 99% of the left-wing bloggers and message board posters:
They are just always *****ing, whining, and simply miserable. They just took control of the entire Congress and yet they are more miserable and whining louder than ever! How miserable do you have to be to win that much power and still be yapping?
After all these years of complaining about the deficit, I would think they would be hard at work helping Pelosi craft a balanced budget. After all, Newt balanced the budget, so I'm sure Pelosi will do the same.
BTW, whenever I say that, left-wingers say "No, Clinton balaced the budget." To that I say, "take a civics lesson" because only The House can appropriate money. A president can send all the budget proposals to Congress that he wants, but they have nothing binding. I can ask Santa for a Gulfstream Jet if I want. Santa isn't obligated to consider my request.
My message to all the lazy, loser, left-wingers: Try as you might, you aren't going to stop us from being happy, successful, or pursuing career paths we enjoy.
I personally couldn't imagine being as miserable as 99% of the left-wingers, nor as much of a failure at life as many of them are.
Love to post more, but time is money!:
