Where has everyone gone? Where's Trishben, and all the other regulars, not including me. Only seeing a few posts from a few regulars. Has spring fever gotten to everyone?

Hi Beachnut, I'm in PCB as we speak, came in on Friday.

Planning on going by the garden shop we've discussed in the past, seeing if I can get you the name of it, I'm surprised this hasn't been answered yet as many locals live in town?

Went into town yesterday, the name of the place we were looking for is Shady Oaks. Its open Wed-Sat and its on Michigan and 98. I have pics and hours I'll post when I get a chance.

Shady Oaks is very cool - at the corner of Michigan and Hwy 98 - been around for ages!!!

I have been super slammed here at The Tourist Network and haven't had too much time to post...

What shall we discuss now?

I am glad that "spring break" is dwindling - love what it does for our economy but I am always heartbroken when I see what they do to our beaches....

If anyone is in town for Easter - be sure to go by Schooners - they have an awesome Easter treat for the entire family - and I dare say you won't have a better view of the Gulf AND the food rocks too!

Well, I am reviving this thread as I have not seen any posts from the regulars in a good while. I have been kind of vacant also though. I have seen a post by Bubba Bob but nothing out of Trishben.

Maybe I'll wake up some of the past regulars and get them out of hiding again.

Seems like activity comes in waves on the forums.

I'm guessing we'll see it pick up again in May.

Glad you're still around Beach! When will you be in PCB again?

In a month. Changed our reservation from the end of August which is our usual beach time to earlier. I cannot wait. The sun, the sand, and the surf. Wished we could come twice a year. Gotta check out Pier Park. Hope a lot of the stores are open. Target was already open I believe last year when we were down. Our vacation couldn't come soon enough. Hope the weather and water are perfect then. There haven't been any problems with jellyfish or anything has there?

BTW, I like the changes to the website, like the videos.

No problems with jellies... that usually happens mid-summer when it does happen...

You'll be amazed at Pier Park's progress. If you like burgers, be sure and check out Five Guys Famous Burgers. Delish!
