Is anyone else in the southeast experiencing the cold we are here? It is 48 degrees here with wind gusts out of the north around 22mph. Never got above 52 today and has been raining pretty much nonstop since Monday night. Hate to see what winter is going to bring our way.

We can blame all this moisture on the gulf. This system has been staying over our area due to it constantly moving so far east and then wrapping back around over our area again. That is where this system is coming from.

We needed to make up some serious rain deficit but geez. Now this is getting old. We have had around probably 5 to 6 inches of rain over the past couple of weeks. They are showing rain through part of Friday. And the temps here are not even going to be back up into the 60's until the weekend.

Thank goodness they are showing sunshine and warmer temps coming in on Saturday and lasting for several days.

It's a little chilly here in PCB... overcast most of the day and about 60 degrees... slight wind. I'm enjoying the cooler weather...

Thanks. I found an even better Charlie Brown avatar. That is my favorite Halloween cartoon. I bet I've missed it on tv already. I haven't missed it. It is showing on ABC on October 30th at 7:00 CST.

I have VCR tapes of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" & "A Charlie Brown Christmas" that I recorded off the TV in the 80's. It's really a hoot to play them now because of the commercials that are on the tape. Dolly Madison snacks was the primary sponsor and the hairdos & clothes on some of the other commercials are a riot! I guess we really looked like that!
