Was just in PC for great long weekend, but missing are the piers? Are they going to rebuild?

Yes, both piers are under contract to be rebuilt... work on the City Pier (in front of Pier Park) has already begun.

Thanks, I love it there, and have been coming down for yrs....will be down in 3 weeks for Thunder Beach...Glad they are rebuilding...not the same with out them

Oh man. My husband and I always go out on the Dan Russell Pier. I hate that it won't be available for us to go out on this year but I am glad they are rebuilding it. That is always a must do for us. Hopefully they will have it rebuilt by Summer 09.

I just didn't know how to act without the Dan Russell Pier being there. We were by there several times seeing them drive the pilings but they sure don't have much done. Wondering when they started working on it?

yo! I had to come back to the forums... I noticed that the both of the piers are gone as well. I guess the only ones left are in St. Andrews State Park and the one at Pineapple Willy's (which doesn't even go out over the water). The next pier you'll probably find is in Destin or Ft. Walton Beach. So how's Beach TV nowadays?

Yep, St. Andrews Pier is it until next year sometime when they'll be finished w/ the city pier (Dan Russel pier)

I need to check in with the forums a little more often. Definitely looking forward to Voodoo though. I'm headed to Ozzfest as well. But I'm sure this is all topical for a different thread.

Glad to know that the Pier will be completed sometime this year. Maybe by the time we come down the end of August it will be completed hopefully.
