Can anyone suggest where the best liquor store in the area is? As many times as we've been there we haven't found one that we return to year after year. Any suggestions ? Thanks!

I'll be curious to the answers you get. We always end up in the overpriced ones.

Same here. Or the selection is thin. Not that I'm THAT picky but last year I went to a store where the best vodka available came from Kentucky but it was priced like gold. And yes. I bought it. Desperate times call for despirate measures. I would consider bringing it with me but with all the stuff we bring plus this year my dog is along for the ride we will be have a pretty good load, as usual.

Have you considered posting this to the Spring Break Forum ? I bet some of those readers might have recomemdations!

Newby's is good.

There's a small package liquor store across from Bikini Beach motel on Front Beach that is good.

Publix on Back Beach (just opened this summer) has a liquor store.

Sam's Club in town has probably the best liquor prices.

Yaaa! Thanks SWN5363! We're going to be at the Gulfcrest again this year so Newby's is a very short walk away. We may also check out some other places but I sure appreciate the options. We will investigate your suggestions!

Just a follow-up. Newbys was a party and a good place to drop by for quick supplies. The store by Publix had a great selection and a friendly staff. We'll shop there again.

newbys is my favorite liquor store/bar in pcb. and if you want to have a really good time ask them about their hunch punch.

That's on my "to-do" list next trip down. We like the people that work there. We stay at Gulfcrest so it is a quick walk for quick supplies. still need to try the punch though.
