Internet Radio has changed a lot and the only way to run internet radio is if you went through a legal carrier that handled the RIAA paperwork and such.

Originally, in our search for Hottest Myrtle Beach media personalities, we had selected several other people (both from radio and tv)... but some were unable to compete. Luckily we had our own Julie B to who was gracious enough fill in.

The contest was announced on Check It Out, which is hosted by Randy and Stephanie.. and although Steph is hot, it would probably appear as favoritism if she were a contestant.

and, if I'm not mistaken.... doesn't the winner co-host for a week or something? Steph can't be her own co-host.

I thought Randy was the co-host. Anyway.. I believe one of the many fab prizes is a feature on the winner on an episode of Check It Out.. which happens to air 22 times a day all week.

That's pretty good exposure and bragging rights for whomever the new Hottest Media Personality is to plug their station and thank their listeners! Go ahead and polish that tiara, ladies.

But the real winners are the voters, who have banded together in a common cause to show their support for the hottest media personality of their choosing.
