Question Where to Find Myrtle Beach Merchandise?

Hi Everyone!!

I'm new to this message board "stuff" so any errors, I apologize. Sweetie and I ADORE MB and I would love to get him something (shirt, hat, etc.) with MB imprinted, stitched, whatever on it. Any suggestions of where I can go on line to find such things? I've not been very successful thus far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! Thank you!!!!!

Native Suns is the place. Www.nativesuns.com

Their website is a good starting point. They have lots more stuff. Give them a call if you want more info. If you can't get them, they are in the process of moving locations.

Got it!!! Thanks so much for the help. It's certainly a start!! So what do you know about beach weddings???? Absolultely, positively nothing tacky. Want something fun but dignified. Seems like so much of what I've seen on line has been somewhat not exactly what we were thinking. Any ideas?????

Did someone say Wedding:)???

Hi-
Let me know what you're interested in ....
on the beach ...in a church?

fall? spring?

lots of people? 2 people?

Give me some of your wishes and I'll point you in the right direction. I just got married in March and I've got lots of resources I'll be happy to share.

Hi Stephanie!!!

Thanks for offering your help!!!! We're kind of at the beginning stages so we're pretty flexible at this point. To be totally honest, what I really want is for this to be extra special for him. I've already done the church wedding thing (we're both in our 40s) but want it to be both fun and romantic. His big request, beach wedding, somewhere by the ocean. As far as people are concerned, we haven't decided on a group size (we're coming from Pittsburgh) but I'd say no larger than 20 with the distinct possibility of it just being us 2. I've looked at the on line wedding sights and for me, it's just not exactly what I'm looking for. I don't think we want to be part of an assembly-line wedding chapel but I don't want to have to mortgage the house either. Geeze, I don't want much do I?!?!?!?!?

More wedding ideas

I wanted to get married outside but we got married in March and my wedding planner wouldn't hear of taking the chance of rain. All of the other dates in April and May were taken at that point and remember that prices for flowers, rooms, etc go up in early May.

Lots of locals choose to have their wedding on the beach by simply renting an ocean front beach house (Litus has good ones) and having the ceremony and reception at the same place. It also is nice because before and after the wedding people have a place to stay. I think most of them run about 500 a night for a huge oceanfront place but that's just what I'm remembering ... I could be wrong!

There are great places that cater weddings.

Southern Market - they can do all kinds of reception food...especially 'pick up' food like shrimp cocktail and little sandwiches. (You can ask for Jens - sounds like Yens- and he can help you there)

Jimmy's Japanese- depending on what theme you go with or what your taste buds are ...this is a great choice. They cater a wonderful menu of steak, chicken, shrimp with rice and vegetables. It's just like the meals you get at those awesome Japanese places where they cook in front of you ....but instead ..they come to you.

I'll be back later with some other suggestions for flowers, etc.
