Will be going to MB BW in May, hubby wants to stay on Ocean BLVD. in a hotel/motel that has a balcony overlooking the Blvd. Would like to sit on balcony, relaxing watching bikes ride by. Hard to tell from some of the hotels websites whether they have said balconies. Anyone know of any?

I can't think of any off the top of my head. I'm sorry.

Look for a hotel around 23rd St. La Quinta maybe.

I lived in Conway until 98 when I moved to the Keys. There are several hotels between 19th and 25th streets. I used to frequent the old Rock Burger which is now defunct. Try the LaQuinta or Best Western

I think The Dead Dog Saloon used to be The Beach House Bar. My wife and I stayed across the street (Ocean Side of the BLVD). Call the bar and ask about the Hotel across from them.

Good Luck, staying on the balcony is one way to avoid the MB gestapo! The cops in MB are looking to seperate the bike week people from there money any way they can.

Sorry but Dead Dog Saloon has closed that place and they are now relocated to Murrells Inlet.
