has anyone been to marti's what kind of place is that a club or reastuarant bar.

Myrtle Beach has always been my favorite vacation place. The things that was so wonderful about Mother Fletchers and Freaky Tiki is you could walk there. You didn't have to worry about drinking and driving or getting a taxi. Freaky Tiki was the bomb. I would start out at the Beach House or Gilligan's (sp) and then walk to Freaky Tiki. What fun!!!

This spring I went back and had a blast but it cost me a lot of money to get a taxi back and forth to Broadway at the Beach. To make matters worse the last night they would not let us in the clubs because they were filled to capacity.

MYRTLE BEACH, first you almost force us to go to broadway at the beach and then we can't get in. I don't want Freaky Tiki to find a new location. I want to keep it where it was and they just need to have better security. Something needs to open where Mother Fletchers is.

The thing I loved about Myrtle Beach was the fact you could walk anywhere. In fact, I have parked my car at my motel when I arrived in the past and never moved it. That was what I loved about Myrtle Beach. THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!!!

I will down in Myrtle Beach July 1st through the 8th. Is there anything going on for the 4th?

This is the most crowded time of year. This is something going on every where you go.

just wondering if there is a place that has 'replaced' the freaki tiki. Like a college age bar playing lots of good hip-hop.

I have been to Myrtle Beach several times before and went to celebrity square and kryptonite - but nothing quite matched the intensity, the wildness of the party at the tiki.

cannot believe it the freaky tiki closed down? oh my god i have been there since it opened i come over from england ever year witha bunch of people to come to this club !!!!!! the owners , bartenders djs and doorstaff were always great to us !!!! now what will i do ? pay for cabs to broadway at the beach i guess this is horrible news !!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, a lot of people are upset about it. Still plenty of nightlife and a new club called Karma is about to open on the strip.

whereabouts on the strip and do you know when? am heading down there for labor day weekend.

It's where the Shark Club use to be..On the North Side of the Pavilion...It should be open by then

i have the real update on the freaky tiki well see what had really happened was they were fights,sexually assaults,under age drinking and people left the club disorderly.THEY ARE NOT DISLOCATING IT they are just adding mother fletchers to it and back to the situation THE JUDGE OF SOUTH CAROLINA ORDERED that the club should be shut down until further notice it will reopened in facted they are reopening it AUGUST 5 from what i heard cuz i was down there last week and going back this sunday if any other questions ask me i know all about it

i mean if you cant wait you can also visit club kryptonite you can go to the site if you want to at www.club-kryptonite.com i think its about fun as the freaky tiki but just without the foam doam and t shirt activites but that club i swear its HUGE!!!!

wow they are really reopening this weekend with mother fletchers part of it as well? that would be amazing i have told my friends all about the club and they were so disappointed when it was shut down that will be fantastic if it all happens
