You guys don't need to be too upset. I loved Freaky Tiki and Mother Fletcher too. Club Kryptonite and Senor Frogs have stepped in and done a really good job for the 18 year old and up partier...There is still plenty of action

Yes Club Kryptonite and Senor Frogs are fun but there is one big difference. You have to drive there or pay an outrageous amount for a taxi. There needs to be a place you can walk to. That is why I feel in love with Myrtle Beach.

That makes sense. There maybe a new club called Karma opening on the Boulevard. Waiting to get more info.

I loved Freaky Tiki and Mother Fletchers as much as anyone, but Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach is a great place to go for the night with tons of variety...I agree it would be nice to have somewhere fun within walking distance, but where else can you find 10 clubs/bars all right next door to each other. You can't beat that if you ask me

Alright i loved myrtle last year so we are all goin down again and ive heard of possible Fletchers n Tiki's opening again....whats the deal wit that?? that would kill it let me know

From what I've heard Fletchers is definitely done, and Tiki's was looking to relocate but they haven't had any real success to date. I wish they would both reopen, especially Tiki's. If your 21 though Celebrity Square is always a good choice

I was just down there this weekend. It looks like they are tearing down Mother Fletchers. Any ideas what they are doing???

Also, what ever happened to Club Karma??? Is it ever going to open or did the plans fall through???

There has been alot of confusion about Karma, Karma is now open and is a Teen Nightclub. The age range is 13 - 19 but the average age is around 16 - 18. We have done an amazing amount of work on the club, It would make the over 21 crowd jealous :) Karma features an Ocean view deck, 2 Ultra VIP lounges, Guest DJ's, Celebrity Appearances. The Freaky Tiki Is Reopening as THE TIKI @ The Afterdeck 9719 Highway 17 N Myrtle Beach. They are slated to open March 2008. Finally fun returns to Myrtle Beach. They Have a Myspace Page up now too. Check it out myspace.com.tikimb

Wuddup yall! ill be heading down to Myrtle here soon so Ill take some pics and let you know. I know some info has been said already so i apologize for repeats. KARMA is a teen club that is located a row back from the strip in myrtle beach its a block or so south from the Giant slingshot and its located about 2 floors up from an old building. havent heard how great it is, but looking up at the window with lights blazing on the 2nd floor, over looking the ocean.....it has to be cool...for a teen club. Freaky Tiki at restaurant row....that might be a business killer for sure..no longer can kids be same and stumble home drunk from the short walk it was in downtown Myrtle, but now a 20-30 min ride (easily 35 in summer beach traffic, 1 hour for 4th of july) from broadway....If your going id def reccomend takin the BYPASS by Kryptonite to avoid traffic. They have a lot of remodeling to do. Afterdeck was a moldy, very wet, but very wild place. Im kind of sad to see it go! Im excited taht the tiki is coming back tho, and since its on RR maybe we dont have to worry about wet T shirt restrictions ...lol...low blow..haha sorry! Once agian if you 21 and up stick with celebrity square and kryptonite across the street...thats where all the 21 and up women are and thats where some of the best times are to be had when it comes to bars. But dont let traffic discourage you....Try other clubs on nights where Celeb square is getting old. Take a trip to North Myrtle and check out Spanish Galleon, If its May all the college people take over main street and pirates cove and the galleon and rivals south myrlte! Downthe street on 17S in NMB is house of blues...a great place to be! and then finally about 15 mins south of that is restaurant row where quite a few of the lesser known clubs are. A great myrtle beach party experience is to see them all!
