When the Shag Nationals shuffle into town in January and again in March they'll be at The Attic at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion.

Myrtle Beach is the home of the Shag, the dance craze that took off around here in the late 50s and has developed its own loyal following over the years.

The Shag National Dance Championships bring shaggers from all over the country to the Grand Strand every year... it's kind of like a homecoming for them!

And being at the Attic will be another sort of homecoming. It was known as the Magic Attic back when the shag first got going, and was a popular shag hangout. And now the shag returns...
