Try Bay Tree. It's a beach course which is nice. Last time I was there it only ran $28 so I liked that.

Are there specials out there on golf trips to Myrtle? I'm looking for something in October and I've never been to town so I don't have any particular course I HAVE to play. Thanks.

I haven't heard of any specials Frank, but you can try contacting the courses directly - one of them is bound to have good deals.

The best bet is to get the local paper as soon as you get there, There are many good golf deals for courses.

I rent my condo in Tidewater and use it myself. Have been going there for 10 years and you do better on your own rather than the golf or vacation packages. If you watch the specials you can golf for $25-$28 per round. Watch the restaurants, I recommend Chuck's Steak House but watch out for all the "Calabash" style. It is all fried.

Stay in North Myrtle, nuch less traffic and much nicer.

Write back if you need more info. It is a great place but I think downtown Myrtle is trashy. NMB is about 15 miles away and very nice. Jim

I like North Myrtle Beach too. It's got everything you want to do and less traffic.

Nice Course

Hey Frank,
my family and i come to Myrtle Beach ever year on vacation and we love the north myrtle beach area. wide beaches less traffic and great golf. A group of guys and myself from work are coming back in august on a golf trip. we are playing Panters Run , Lions Paw and Tigers Eye. These course are awesome and pretty cheap. Juniors usually play free ( under 16 ). Just a little input !!!!

have a great trip !!!!
