Just got back from a three day weekend @ MB; stayed at the Palace Resort. Great price but you get what you pay for!
Here is a list of problems I had with my room: broken curtain rod on sliding door, "ocean front" room actually ANGLE O.F. room!, bath tub drain handle literally hanging off tub, no hair dryer provided, no shampoo provided, notified @ 11:30pm that I had to move my car to the parking lot next door because the Palace parking lot was being worked on the next morning!
I spent days researching different hotels to stay at before booking the Palace. Their website made the resort look very appealing and it probably was ten years ago but it is now in a state of disrepair. Since my wife and I were mainly in the room to sleep and bathe, we decided to stay rather than seek out new accomodations elsewhere.
If you are considering staying at the Palace Resort anytime soon, I highly suggest you look for someplace else!!!
