Lodging and activity reccomendations?

I will be going down to MB for the weekend of March 19-20. I'm coming by greyhound bus and will be attending a concert at the house of blues. I need a reccomendation on where to stay. I won't have a car with me, so I'd like to be close to everything, yet I don't want to pay too much for a room ( I just need a bed and TV). Any suggestions???

I'd also be interested in any dining, club, and fishing(as in a headboat) reccomendations. I'm a college student so I'm a little light on the cash.

Thanks in advance for any help

Being a college student you probably want to stay in the Myrtle Beach area. House of Blues is in North Myrtle Beach. So you want be able to stay too close to both good areas.

As far as clubs, you will want to hit Freaky Tiki, Celebrity Square, Club Kryptonite, or Red Room late night.

Tons of dining or fishing. You can get info on dining on this website. Not sure what you're interested in.

Ok, I think I've figured out where to stay.

I'm curious if there are any headboats where you can shell out 40 bucks and fish for half a day. I'm not too familiar with fishing in Myrtle Beach. I would love to go offshore, but I assume the cost would be much higher and you would have to have a group of people.

Thanks

There are boats like that, but they are in Little River and Murrells Inlet. I don't really have any info to give you on the boats. They have brochures everywhere though.
