It all depends of family or friends or if your young or old...the BEST place to stay for partying sense is North Myrtle Beach. The cops arent as bad as myrtle (not too say they are lienent either) but they are more chillax. from 5th ave north to 17th ave south. its full of beach houses and condos that are packed with students of all ages and parties go on everyhwere! and the clubs are only 15 min away. if u are of age main street in NMB isnt a bad place to go before going down to south myrlte either.

i go to myrtle beach for my friends spring break (not mine im going to panama city beach baybee!!) but i only go for a weekend and i lifeguard there every summer. South myrlte beach (the one thats popular) is gettin exremely trashy and cops have can raid beach houses if the landlord gives them permission. it happend to my friends every summer. And the open container law is for dixie cups too..i seen literally over 100 people arrested because they thought that as long as it wasnt labled as beer on the can or bottle that they would be fine..BIG MISTAKE if the cops smells it or sees it in any form its a ticket to jail. The 5-0 in north myrtle are a little laid back but not when it comes to stupidity. same thing open containers public intox its a sherrif ride waiting to happen. But if your drunk and on the streets just dont act dumb and you will be fine. once agian..if ur looking for non stop dancing club action..its better in myrtle beach but as far as hundreds of students partying nonstop get a beach house around Main Street in NMB(or not far from it) and you will never go or see the same people 0r party the whole week your there :)
