Question Need Help Finding A Room(s)......

Hello Everyone,

My husband, mother-in-law and myself will be traveling to Myrtle Beach in October of this year (2007). We need help finding a room. I know that October is a long time from now but I thought I better get started now to find just the right room. We are looking for a place that has two seperate bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen, plus an indoor lazy river and hopefully all of this at a reasonable price. Does anyone have any ideas?

I am leading toward the Holiday Sands North but honestly know anything about the hotel. Does anyone have any advice {good and/or bad} about this hotel?

Any help would be great. It's usually just my husband and myself and then I don't worry about finding a room but since we are traveling with my mother-in-law , I would like to find something at least sort of nice. Thank you all for everything!!!

What kind of price range are you looking for?

There are few condos and resorts that have indoor lazy rivers. Last October I stayed at Forest Dunes and they had an enclosure around the lazy the river to make it indoors. Also, I found the Bay View Resort online, they have an indoor/outdoor lazy river.

Let me know what price range you are looking for and I will do a little more research for you.

Jeremy

You might want to try Camelot By The Sea. You can view the different suites at www.patricia.com . Hope this helps.

I am staying at the Holiday Sands North next month. I have never been there before, I'll let you know what it's like. If anyone out there has been there already let us know.
I have stayed at the reef, it was pretty nice, but one of my favorites is compass cove. It is very clean, nice pool and spa's and has a lazy river.

There are 2 really nice places that I have stayed while in Myrtle Beach. Sands Ocean Club was really night. The outdoor bar (Ocean Annie's) had some excellent music! They had 2 pools, a hot tub and a lazy river. It was great. The indoor lounge was nice too.

Another excellent place is Forest Dunes. They too have 2 pools, hot tub, lazy river and a bar. The room was very clean and had a great time here.

Ok although a little late in responding...I hope yall had a good time, OCT is an iffy time for myrtle beach, but Celebrity square is always kicking off:) A GREAT hotel, with a good price fro the location and minutes from everything is the best western...its called the 'Carolinian' its a big blue hotel and very nice with AARP and Military rates..ESPECIALLY on the off season. You can get a two bedroom condo with full kitchen 1 and 1/2 bath full livng room with balcony...beach front for 75 a night! Depending on time of year but off season is HIGHLY reasonable....always clean..indoor and outdoor pool with the works. You can always bet that if its a hotel in myrtle beach..IT will always have indoor/outdoor pool, Large hot tub, always a lazy river..some kind of restaurant or bar and expect multiple. usually pools and hottubs can also be across the street on a sister tower or onthe roof and they arent as stuffed as the ground floor beach one and offer a little more privacy and a great view. But check it out.....my FAV hotel for offseason myrtle beach. Best Western's Carolinian
